How to install DLC content

Downloading and installing DLC content for Joey Drew's Sandbox is pretty easy.

DISCLAIMER: DLC Content only works for v5.0 and up.

1: Visit the JDSB DLC forum category

If you're here then it means that you can navigate in the forum. Just visit the Forum page and click on the JDSB DLC category. There you will see all the posts that have DLC content. Click on any of the posts that you want to download.

2: Download the Archive

Now that you are on the page you should see a .tar file download (you may need to scroll down). It looks something like this:

Click on the down arrow on the right side of the panel to download the file.

3. Extract the Archive

Opening a .tar file isn't hard if you have the right software. For Windows use WinRar: https://windowsrar.com/. For Android use RAR: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rarlab.rar. If you open the file with either of these programms you will most likely see 2 folders inside: PC and Android. Choose your JDSB platform and open the folder. You should see an Asset bundle inside. You will need to extract it into the correct folder. For Windows put the asset bundle inside the StreamingAssets folder inside Joey Drew's Sandbox_Data where you have downloaded your copy of Joey Drew's Sandbox. For android extract the file into (Your Device)/Android/data/com.fcmgbr.jdsandbox/files.

Now you are ready to load the DLC into Joey Drew's Sandbox!
